Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Perfxtec collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We act as a data controller under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

Perfxtec, Suite RA 01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, contact Info@perfxtec.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information directly from you, automatically when you use our site, and occasionally from third parties (for example, payment providers).

You give us

  • Identity and contact: name, email, phone number, country.
  • Engagement details: your trading experience, goals, and history that you choose to share when booking a consultation or completing intake.
  • Payment information: billing details. We do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider.
  • Communications: messages, calls, or emails you send us, including session notes you authorise us to keep.

Collected automatically

  • Device and usage: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see section 7.

From third parties

  • Payment providers: transaction confirmation and billing metadata.
  • Marketing platforms: if you click an ad or referral link to reach us.

3. How we use your information

  • To deliver our mentorship services and respond to your enquiries.
  • To process payments and issue receipts.
  • To send service messages (e.g. session reminders, account changes).
  • To send marketing communications where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To improve the site, content, and services through analytics.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

4. Lawful bases

We process your information under one or more of the following bases (UK GDPR Art. 6):

  • Contract — to perform the mentorship services you have engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our business, in a way that is balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to keep records required by tax, accounting, and other UK law.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate, including hosting, email, scheduling, analytics, and payment processing — all bound by contract to protect your information.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers operate outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses with additional measures where required.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (e.g. session management). Always on.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. Loaded only with your consent.
  • Marketing cookies — used by partners to measure ad performance. Loaded only with your consent.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using your browser controls. Blocking some cookies may affect parts of the site.

8. How long we keep your information

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. As a guide:

  • Active client records: for the duration of our engagement plus 6 years, in line with UK record-keeping requirements.
  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, then for a short suppression period to honour your opt-out.
  • Website logs and analytics: typically 26 months.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for processing based on consent, at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, email Info@perfxtec.com. We respond within one month.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the ICO as required by law.

11. Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The site may link to broker, copytrading, or other third-party platforms. Their privacy practices are their own — please review their policies before sharing information with them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified through the site or by email where appropriate.
